In order to remain close to its inventors and to global innovation, the organisers of the International Exhibition of Inventions have decided to host a special virtual-only edition in 2021: Inventions Geneva Evaluation Days – Virtual Event. The latter offers the possibility for inventors from all over the world to participate in the competition by presenting their invention via a 3-minute video that will be judged by a panel of professional judges.
The following edition of the International Exhibition of Inventions in its usual form will be held at Palexpo in spring 2022. The Climate Show, guest of the International Exhibition of Inventions, will also take place in 2022.

The International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva is the most important annual event in the world devoted exclusively to inventions. Innovations are exhibited for the first time.
Industrial and commercial companies, universities, inventors and researchers, associations, private and state organisms and institutions present their inventions, the results of their research and their new products. Manufacturers, commercial traders and financiers will find 1,000 novelties ready to be marketed.
The Climate Show
The International Climate Show will be held from 10th to 14th March in parallel to the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva. It will be dedicated to the most innovative technologies and solutions for climate protection and carbon emission reduction. The 2021 Show will include a selection of technology showcase available today on the market, conferences, workshops and debates in 3 different thematic: clean technologies, climate change and sustainable finance. This event will be an opportunity for visitors to discover the latest innovations in Switzerland, and on a global level in this field.
The Climate Show 2021 will focus on the theme of reforestation and therefore will have a special décor of trees and permaculture vegetable gardens and a parcel for planting for CO2 offsetting. It will also include a Photography exhibition; an eco-friendly fashion show and a green movie will be shown.
Finally, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the tasty Climate Burger and relax in the Dolce Space for a collective thought for the climate during a tea ceremony offered to participants.
The Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, a Palexpo SA event, recognizes and assumes its social and environmental responsibility.
Aware of the environmental impacts that its activity generates, it seeks to reduce them by involving all types of actors in its approach to sustainable development, which aims to be participative.
Respect the environment
In order to minimize waste, the Salon des Inventions uses 100% recyclable carpet. Waste is also recycled up to 75%, sorted at source and treated by a specialized service provider.
